&lt;p&gt;When we started to sell the consumer eUICC, we assumed it is special/unusual to have them in removable
form-factor.  And indeed, there are few suppliers offering such products on the market.  However, based on
various customer inquiries we are now following-up with the solder-type MFF2 package.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Our market analysis has shown that while SGP.02 M2M eUICC in MFF2 package can be sourced from many electronics distributors, the SGP.22 Consumer eUICC in MFF2 package could not be sourced easily anywhere, particularly not from stock and in low quantities.  Our product aims to clsoe that gap and enables manufacturers to build embedded products with soldered / non-removal eUICCs for the GSMA Consumer eSIM RSP.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Both the &lt;strong&gt;sysmoEUICC1-C2G&lt;/strong&gt; (GSMA production certificaes) as well as the &lt;strong&gt;sysmoEUICC1-C2T&lt;/strong&gt; (SGP.26 test certificates) are now available from stock and can be ordered via the sysmocom webshop.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Using the &lt;strong&gt;sysmoEUICC1-C2G&lt;/strong&gt;, you can eSIM-enable devices that have no native eSIM support, such as older or lower-end Android smart phones or M2M devices.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The sysmoEUICC1-C2T is primarily interested for software developers and researchers working on the GSMA eSIM RSP protocols.  Its SGP.26 certificates ensure that any user can create, sign/protect and install/download locally-created eSIM profiles.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;sysmocom announces the availability of its latest generation of programmable/customizable SIM card products, the &lt;a class="reference external" href="https://sysmocom.de/products/sim/sysmoisim-sja5/"&gt;sysmoISIM-SJA5&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The &lt;a class="reference external" href="https://sysmocom.de/products/sim/sysmoisim-sja5/"&gt;sysmoISIM-SJA5&lt;/a&gt; is the successor over the earlier &lt;a class="reference external" href="https://sysmocom.de/products/sim/sysmousim/"&gt;sysmoISIM-SJA2&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The update from SJA2 to SJA5 means that under the hood there is a new smart card chip and a new smart card
operating system, as well as an updated profile, in-line with &lt;strong&gt;3GPP Release 17&lt;/strong&gt;.  The card now also supports the
3GPP HPSIM application, in addition to the ISIM, UISM and classic GSM SIM applications.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The new card is available in two different variants:  9FV and S17.  The S17 option differs from the 9FV option
in that it supports the best available 5G security/privacy feature &lt;em&gt;SUCI calculation by the USIM&lt;/em&gt;.  Using
that feature, the concealed subscriber identifier (SUCI) can be computed entirely on the card itself, with the
related key material must never leave the secure smart card.  The lower-cost 9FV variant only offers &lt;em&gt;SUCI
calculation by the ME&lt;/em&gt;, where the related key material must be readable and hence is more easy to compromise.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;sysmoISIM-SJA5 in 2FF/3FF/4FF form-factor is already shipping to our bulk customers with made-to-order volumes
from MOQ-1000 upwards.  Individual samples are available upon request.  General availability of
sysmocom-branded 10-packs in the webshop is expected to start in December 2023.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;At the same time, the predecessor sysmoISIM-SJA2 is end-of-life (EOL).  We are still selling remaining stock
until it runs out, but there will be no more production runs of this old product.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A major re-launch of our ancient "web 1.0" was long past due anyway, but the specific reason for this
re-launch was the change of shipping methods that was forced upon us by Deutsche Post, the German postal
company.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;During the past decade, we always could offer exceptionally good shipping rates for our mostly very
small/lightweight products to our global customer base.  This was possible by shipping the products as
&lt;em&gt;registered mail&lt;/em&gt;.  The disadvantage was very long delivery times, particularly for our (majority of)
intercontinental customers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, from today (July 1, 2022), Deutsche Post and its subsidiary DHL discontinued the related shipping
options.  They are now only offering unregistered (no proof of delivery) postal shipments, and with no
liability for loss and damage anywhere near our product value.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As a result, we had the choice between the rather expensive postal package (which is also relatively slow)
and the industry-standard express shipment providers.  We decided to go for UPS, which has been the preferred
shipping partner for our enterprise (non-webshop) product shipments for a long time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The new webshop now offers &lt;em&gt;UPS Express Saver&lt;/em&gt;, and depending on the destination possibly the more economic
&lt;em&gt;UPS Standard&lt;/em&gt; and/or &lt;em&gt;UPS Expedited&lt;/em&gt; options.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In terms of payment methods, the new webshop now adds &lt;a class="reference external" href="https://stripe.com/"&gt;Stripe&lt;/a&gt; as a payment provider

&lt;p&gt;More and more modern cellular modems are being released not in the classic miniPCIe form-factor, but in M.2 (NGFF).  Particularly for LTE-Advanced and 5G/NR, this is a requirement as only M.2 has USB 3.0 and a PCIe lane for higher connection speeds to the host processor.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Following the success of sysmocom’s miniPCIE WWAN break-out board, we have now released a M.2 WWAN modem break-out board.  It can host any M.2 cellular modem and exposes not only the USB 3 super-speed signals, but also the PCIe lane.  With the included cable and PCIe adapter, it can be connected to any PCIe x1 slot in a PC or embedded computing board.&lt;/p&gt;
